Internal Sales / Key Account Manager

 

Job Description

 

We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales/Key Account Manager to work in our busy Dudley sales office and join a strong motivated team. The successful candidate must have a "can do" attitude and fantastic customer service skills, a good telephone manner along with great administration and IT skills.

 

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of selling products effectively and has previous experience in the field of sales. We are looking for an efficient, effective employee who can help our organization build lasting relationships with our vast data base of customers.

Previous Bearings and PT product knowledge an advantage but not essential.

Minimum sales experience required - 5 years.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Quote customers over the phone and by email
  • Upsell where appropriate; associated product and / or increased quantity etc.
  • Promote the current marketing initiative
  • Chase unanswered quotes
  • Discuss high value quotes with line manager
  • Support the overall effective and efficient functioning of the sales department
  • Action visit reports within 48 hours
  • Chase deliveries
  • Source products worldwide
  • Problem solve
  • Input and book orders
  • Develop customer relationships; potential to visit customers or ask senior members of the team to visit customers
  • Ad hoc duties.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm or 9am to 5.30pm (30mins lunch)
  • 1 in 7 Saturdays (9am-12pm)
  • Call-out rota (after probation period)

Language:

  • English (required)

Experience:

  • Sales: 5 years (preferred)

Essential Qualifications:

 

  • GCSE In Maths & English

 

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
